On September 9, 2020, the first Forum on new structural economics and intellectual property and the unveiling ceremony of the school of intellectual property of Jiangsu University, Institute of intellectual property of new structural economics and Institute of new structural economics of Peking University, sponsored by Jiangsu University and supported by Jiangsu Intellectual Property Office, were held in Jiangsu University. Many experts and scholars gathered in the forum to plan a new pattern of development of new structural economics and intellectual property in the new era.

At the meeting, Yan Xiaohong, President of Jiangsu University, said that the first Forum on new structural economics and intellectual property rights was held, and it was unveiled for the school of intellectual property. It is a new practice to implement general secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions in promoting the Forum on integrated development of Yangtze River Delta and the expert forum on economic and social fields. Through the sharing and integration of new knowledge and new ideas in the field of new structural economics and intellectual property, it will promote the cross integration of new structural economics and intellectual property, and have an important impact on the development of new research fields.
At the scene, Lin Yifu, counsellor of the State Council, deputy director of the Economic Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, President of the Institute of new structural economics of Peking University, Ma Minglong, Secretary of Zhenjiang municipal Party committee, Zhi Suping, director of the Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province, and Yuan Shouqi, Secretary of the Party committee of Jiangsu University jointly unveiled the school of intellectual property.

Yan Xiaohong presented the letter of appointment to Lin Yifu. Tang Heng, President of Intellectual Property School of Jiangsu University and executive director of Intellectual Property Research Institute of new structural economics, presented flowers to Lin Yifu.

After the appointment ceremony, Lin Yifu gave a lecture on the first course of micro major of new structural economics and made an academic report entitled "China's economy under the new development pattern". Zhao Yong, director of the personnel department of the State Intellectual Property Office, and Wang Yong, academic vice president of the Institute of new structural economics of Peking University, respectively delivered keynote speeches on the national intellectual property talent training plan and the development of the discipline of new structural economics. Experts and scholars from Peking University, Shanghai University, Hohai University, Nanchang University, Shandong University, science and Technology Strategic Consulting Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ningbo University of Nottingham, Jiangsu University and other universities exchanged views on the topics of "new structural economics professional degree construction, new structural economics innovation theory, how to combine new structural economics with intellectual property rights" In other words, we should reach a basic consensus on how to combine new structural economics with intellectual property rights, form a basic cooperation framework, and effectively promote the innovative research of new structural economics.

It is understood that the micro major of "new structural economics" is the intellectual property School of Jiangsu University. Relying on the domestic top teachers of new structural economics of Peking University and the research characteristics of intellectual property of Jiangsu University, the school uses the teaching mode and experience of "new structural economics experimental class (Lin Yifu class)" of Peking University for reference, and uses the online and offline mixed teaching mode, combining with the students Features to create a special curriculum system and teaching plan, committed to building top talent training characteristics of the project.
