On December 11, the State Intellectual Property Office, Hubei Intellectual Property Office and Wuhan jointly held the unveiling ceremony of China (Wuhan) intellectual property protection center.
After the unveiling ceremony, Wuhan Protection Center released the patent navigation analysis report of high-end equipment manufacturing industry and biomedical industry in Wuhan, and put forward suggestions on the layout of intellectual property rights and the cultivation of industrial patent advantages of high-end equipment manufacturing industry and biomedical industry in combination with the current economic revitalization and industrial development of the city. At the same time, Wuhan protection center also explained in detail the functions and operation skills of the patent pre examination system to be launched soon, guiding the participating enterprises and intellectual property service institutions to do a good job in related work.
In April 2018, the State Intellectual Property Office approved the construction of Wuhan protection center, mainly for the optoelectronic information industry to carry out the rapid collaborative protection of intellectual property, which integrates rapid review, rapid right confirmation, rapid rights protection and navigation operation, and integrates review and right confirmation, administrative law enforcement and judicial convergence. On May 17, 2019, Wuhan Protection Center successfully passed the examination and acceptance of the State Intellectual Property Office and entered the trial operation stage, becoming the first national intellectual property protection center in Hubei Province.
