The national standard of intellectual property protection management of e-commerce platform is a national recommended standard formed under the framework of e-commerce law. The standard combines the development of e-commerce in China, and fully draws on the experience of IP protection of e-commerce platform. The standard puts forward clear requirements from seven aspects, including scope, normative documents, terms and definitions, e-commerce platform management, e-commerce network information platform requirements, organization of intellectual property management, consistency testing, etc. The establishment of standards is conducive to guide the relevant parties of e-commerce platform to strengthen the management of intellectual property protection, enhance the awareness of intellectual property protection of all parties, optimize the business environment in the field of e-commerce, and demonstrate the determination and ability of China to strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights.
Next, the State Intellectual Property Office and relevant departments will promote the relevant parties of e-commerce platform to actively implement the standards and constantly standardize the protection and management of intellectual property in the field of e-commerce.
