From October 5 to 14, AIPPI held the first online international intellectual property conference. During the conference, Shen Changyu, director general of the State Intellectual Property Office of China, was invited to attend the dialogue between the directors of the fifth Bureau of intellectual property of China, the United States, Europe, Japan and South Korea on October 13, and delivered a speech in the form of video.
Shen Changyu introduced a number of measures taken by the State Intellectual Property Office of China during the epidemic period, such as protecting the rights and interests of applicants, supporting scientific research on epidemic prevention and control, supporting market players to return to work and production, and strengthening international cooperation. He said that China's intellectual property industry has worked hard to overcome the impact of the epidemic and achieved stable development on the whole. In the face of future challenges, he put forward suggestions on improving global governance of intellectual property, promoting global scientific and technological innovation, and creating a business environment of fair competition. He also said that China's State Intellectual Property Office will continue to work with international intellectual property organizations and intellectual property institutions in various countries and regions to deepen exchanges and cooperation, do a good job in intellectual property work, and help global innovation cooperation and the world economy Recovery.
